I’m Shahab Shahisavandi, a Mortgage Agent for Dominion Lending Centres Edge Financial #10710.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I can confidently say that I’ve been conducting business for more than two-thirds of my life and can fondly remember when it all began as a little boy selling computer mouses. The joy I got from doing those deals inspired me to join the commerce world.

Once I finished my studies, I started to work with a small boutique drilling company, which was the platform for me to excel in the oil and gas industry by selling commodities.

I later became an energy trader with one of the world’s largest trading houses, which gave me a firm understanding of financial instruments. I realized that each client had unique needs, and I enjoyed executing solutions successfully for each scenario.

I later moved to Canada, where I was seeking a fresh challenge. I was passionate about finance and felt that I could put my extensive lending experience to excellent use, so I decided to become a mortgage broker.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that the mortgage industry has rapidly changed and is increasingly getting impacted by economic and social factors. I must emphasize that lending is evolving for the betterment of people’s lives, although you need to be dynamic to make it accessible for all.

I’m dedicated to diversity, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my integrity and honesty. Clients trust my advice, and I take the time to make the process simple for them to understand.

I also attribute my success to understanding my clients’ needs and always having their best interests at heart. My accountability has created customer satisfaction, and when my clients’ are happy, it fills me with immense pleasure.

While I’ve scooped accolades in the past for my quality and innovation, the most fulfillment that I derive from my work is receiving the “approved” email from lenders, as it makes my journey each day enjoyable.

When I’m not securing lenders, I love listening to audiobooks and learning new topics, as I’m committed to continuous improvement. I’m also concerned about global warming and search for new ways to reduce my carbon footprint.
